Attachment Printer

Your data, explained

Privacy policy

Effective October 13, 2026

Gmail Batch Attachment Printer is a personal Chrome extension operated by Adam Farber. It combines PDF attachments from selected Gmail conversations into a temporary document for printing.

Gmail access and information used

With your permission, the extension requests Google's Gmail read-only scope (gmail.readonly). This permission can read mailbox data; the extension uses it to retrieve the selected conversations, their messages, and PDF attachment contents. It reads information such as conversation and message identifiers, subjects, senders, dates, attachment names, and attachment data. It does not send, modify, or delete your emails.

The extension reads your selected rows in the Gmail webpage to determine which conversations to process. When available, it uses the signed-in Chrome profile's email address to help Google select the correct account during authorization.

Purpose and local processing

Gmail information is used only to fetch the requested PDFs, build the combined print document, preserve invoice boundaries, and identify files that could not be printed. PDF merging and rendering occur locally inside the extension. Some encrypted but viewable PDFs are rendered as images for printing.

Storage and deletion

Short-lived Google access tokens, build requests, and print-job metadata are kept in Chrome's extension session storage. Combined PDF bytes are temporarily stored in extension-owned IndexedDB on your computer. Temporary metadata can include the source emails and attachment names needed to explain the job and any skipped files. The extension does not store a permanent Google refresh token.

The print page attempts cleanup when its tab closes; its Cleanup now button also requests immediate cleanup. Automatic cleanup checks remove orphaned or expired print jobs when the extension starts or runs relevant build and print actions. Jobs older than 24 hours are eligible for deletion at the next cleanup check. This is not a continuously running deletion timer: if Chrome or the extension remains inactive, data may persist until a cleanup check can run.

The extension does not intentionally create files in your Downloads folder. Chrome, your operating system, or your printer may retain caches or print-spool data outside the extension's control. Copies you explicitly save, including through Save as PDF, are under your control and are not removed by the extension.

Sharing and service providers

The extension communicates with Google for authorization and Gmail attachment retrieval. It does not upload email content or PDFs to Adam Farber, this website, or a separate document-processing server. It does not sell Gmail information, use it for advertising, or use it to train artificial intelligence models. It contains no analytics or tracking service.

This informational website is hosted through OpenAI Sites and its hosting infrastructure. Hosting providers may process ordinary website request information, such as IP addresses, for delivery, security, and operations. Gmail messages, attachments, and access tokens are not sent to this website. The pages contain no analytics scripts or application sign-in.

Google API Limited Use

Gmail Batch Attachment Printer's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Your choices

You choose the conversations to print and can decline or revoke Google access through your Google Account connections settings. Revoking access stops future access but does not by itself erase local temporary files. Use Cleanup now, allow the extension's cleanup checks to run, or remove the extension to clear its extension-owned storage. Removing the extension does not delete your Gmail messages or copies you saved separately.
